One Nostalgic Weekend originally broadcasts from Brooklyn, New York City and is hosted & produced by Jonathan Rios. Featured on this weekly old time radio program are some of America's finest and favorite comic books superheroes & comic strips characters that ended up entertaining the nation and the world on the radio back in the golden years of broadcasting.
The shows that are currently being featured in this two hour block are The Lone Ranger Radio Show (Western), Superman (Action), Dick Tracy (Action) & Captain Midnight (Action). Also included in the program are some classic Old Time Radio Commercials and short radio reports/plays in between programs. In the near future, Shows like Tarzan, Little Orphan Annie, Batman, Buck Rogers will be added to the O.N.W rotation in the near future. Each week, In The Mood brings its listeners two hours of the best in Big Band and Small Combo swinging jazz. The music, which is largely overlooked even by jazz musicians today, is a major portion of a collective body of work that was America’s popular music in the 1920s, ‘30s. ‘40s and early ‘50s. It was written, arranged, and usually performed by highly skilled, gifted musicians who were classically trained in the colleges and conservatories of the time. The degree of proficiency required to perform this music well is similar to that of symphony players, although it embraces a much broader variety of playing techniques.
The music itself embodies all the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic principles on which modern jazz is built. The musical vocabulary it presents is elemental and essential for every jazz musician of the past, present and future. That is why In The Mood exists - not solely as a nostalgic look back for those of us “who were there,” but as an instructive, inspiring living history of jazz in America for all musicians and fans everywhere.
The recordings presented each week on In The Mood are the historical documents of jazz as an evolving art form in the 20th Century. They comprise a rich and colorful heritage unique to America and its time. Many of the performers and composers featured on the program have Alabama connections, such as Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Erskine Hawkins, Johnny Long, Pearl Bailey, Laura Washington, Dakota Staton and others. In The Mood celebrates their achievements and their contributions to jazz and popular culture. In The Mood serves as a reminder to players and fans alike of where jazz has been and who were its earliest and most influential proponents…all while presenting the music itself in all its propulsive, swinging glory.

The Gotham Vigilante (NETWORK SHOW-Coming Fall 2021)
Cerebral Cinema and The W.O.N Radio Network takes inside look a Gotham City without its Batman and Batwoman. But, a new heroines rises from the dark. A heroine who's a detective by day and a vigilante by night. She's "The Gotham Vigilante"
It had been 17 years since her Chelsea Kersey's stepdad, Paul Kersey...the well known vigilante passed away. She swore to carry his last name with dignity and honor and also promised him that she would never go the route he did....even if it was for truth and justice. She's know a homicide detective at the Gotham City Police Department. A department that has its hands full more ways then one. And with the disappearance of both Batman and Batwoman, The G.C.P.D is left on its own.
On a cold winter night, Chelsea's life is changed forever when her and husband are shot at Gotham's Riverview park at Ruston River. Chelsea who is badly hurt makes a full recovery, but her husband's injures are too severe and he dies from his injuries. Chelsea is devastated and has no choice but to take a leave of absents from the G.C.PD. Months pass and Chelsea is back at work...but isn't happy with the her own departments investigation into the deadly attack and is unsatisfied with the department's response into why that haven't caught her husband's killers.
A Day After looking at the mug books and seeing what the attackers look like, Chelsea realizes that she must do what she must do. She purchases a deep blue colored trench coat and a deep red colored fedora and a black mask. A New heroine has been born. Introducing "The Gotham Vigilante", A hero to the unfortune and the good and an enemy to the criminals and the police!
